I am back from my vacation.

It was WONDERFUL. I basically spent the entire ten days swimming, sleeping, reading and lounging about in the sunshine. Oh, and eating too much (of course). And playing lots and lots of board and card games. I couldn't have asked for a better holiday. All of my stress just evaporated. The only difficult part was coming back to work. I didn't particularly want to do that.

Spenser let me know just how disappointed in me he was, of course. He doesn't like to be left alone -- he's pretty sure that he should be the centre of attention at all times. This is why he's going to be getting a little sister (or brother) very shortly -- probably the end of next week or so. I wonder how he will feel about that (probably not impressed, at least at first -- but I'm hoping they'll become buddies eventually).

And I will be going to the Tori concert in Toronto next week. I had been toying with the idea of going to Boston instead (since it's on a weekend), but my potential concert buddy can't get away. So Toronto it is. A whirlwind, mid-week trip. It's going to be a bit crazy, but I'm rather looking forward to that.

And now I must go and do laundry and groceries. I somehow seem to have a dearth of food and an excess of dirty clothes. Wonder how that happened... ;)
