Welcome to the Future

Good things about living in the Future: you can find out about all kinds of great music you'd never have heard of in the past, music that's not going to get played on any of the standard-format radio stations that are all you can get; you can even hear lots of music for free, and get exposed to many excellent artists.

Bad things about living in the Future: because album distribution hasn't caught up with the Internet, you can't go out and buy the CDs of all the great artists you have just fallen in love with; the CDs weren't released in Canada, or are exceptionally hard to find, or are otherwise unavailable.

Good things about living in the Future: well, there's always iTunes.

I just wish I could get a physical CD, as insurance against catastrophic computer collapse and switching formats or just changing devices too often. Yes, I know this makes me an Old Person, being dragged kicking and screaming into the future.
