I had a wonderful time last night with fireinthehead. We ate far too much delicious Indian food and had a lovely chat. It was really nice. And I got to sleep in a little bit this morning. Weekends always feel so decadent.

My plans for the day: I really need to do laundry. A lot of laundry. I quite literally have nothing to wear to work on Monday. This could become a problem. *sigh* And I should make an effort to clean up a bit around here (in my defense, it's not that bad... but it could definitely use some serious tidying). Sean's coming over tonight to watch a movie, so I feel that I should try and get the place close to guest-clean. ;)

My Saturday morning reading is a translation of Ovid's Metamorphoses. Does this make me a nerd? Yes, it probably does. Ah well. I was reading a novel, but I wasn't enjoying it very much -- the point of view kept shifting, and not in an interesting way, but more like the author didn't have a handle on it. I was finding it really annoying and distracting. And there was too much "telling", if you know what I mean, and that was irritating me, too. So I put that away and picked up Ovid instead. Why do I feel the need to justify this? Hm.
