All right, fairplaythings. I'm won over.

The Greatest Canadian really is Lester "Mike" Pearson. I mean, he won the Nobel Peace Prize.

You should all vote. Preferably for Pearson (who at the very least should be much higher than 9th), but they're all pretty good candidates, with the notable exception of Don Cherry. Who really needs to be kicked to the bottom of the list as soon as possible.

It's a flawed process, of course. And I admit to being simultaneously impressed and profoundly disappointed that they didn't skew the results of the call for nominations to ensure that there was at least a woman or two, and a First Nations person, on the list.
